Peony Panels
Famille rose enamels on metal, with gold; with a flat lip, slightly concave foot, and flat foot rim; painted on each main side with a similar design of three peonies within a foliate panel made up of dotted ‘C’-scrolls, surrounded by a formalized floral design, the neck with a band of formalized flower heads above a rope band; the foot inscribed in regular script Qianlong nian zhi 乾隆年製 (‘Made in the Qianlong era’); the exterior exposed metal surfaces with traces of gilding
